Data protection statement

The protection of your personal details is particularly important to us. For that reason, we only process your details in accordance with legal provisions (GDPR, Telecommunications Act 2003). This data protection statement provides information about key aspects of data protection in the context of our website.

Contact with us
When you contact us using the form on the website, or by e-mail, the data entered will be stored by us for six months to process your enquiry and for any subsequent queries. We will not forward this data without your consent.

Online booking
If you make your booking via an integrated online booking service, our site makes a direct connection with the booking platform server that processes your data, in accordance with the relevant data protection guidelines. We store the data you enter to effect the booking and will not forward it without your consent.

Cookies
Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your end device via the browser. They do not cause any damage.
We also use cookies to make our offer more user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. They enable us to recognise your browser when you next visit.

If you do not want this, you can set your browser in such a way that you are informed about the placing of cookies and only allow this in individual instances. The functionality of our website may be imitated if cookies are deactivated.

Web Analysis
Statistical assessment (Tracking)
Google Analytics is used for the statistical analysis of the use of our web offer.

Google Analytics
This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The service provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
Google Analytics uses goal- oriented cookies.
More information about how user data is dealt with at Google Analytics can be found in the Google data protection statement: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de

You can prevent information gathering by the cookie and data pertaining to your use of the website and its transfer to Google, as well as the processing of this data by Google, via the settings in your browser.

Transfer to third parties / Obligations of data processors
Your personal data will be transferred by us to data processors, with consideration of the permissible purposes of use (e.g. for statutory reporting, to process your online booking or for our electronic advertising in the form of newsletters), who in turn provide the services you want. They are obligated to adhere to the relevant data protection standards. Please contact us for any additional information.

IP anonymisation
We use the "IP anonymisation activation" function on this website. This means that your IP address will be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union and in other states party to the Agreement of the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Working on behalf of the operators of this website, Google will use this information to assess your use of the website, compile reports about website activities and to provide other information connected with your use of the website and the Internet to the website operator.

The IP address transferred from your browser by Google Analytics will not be associated with other Google data.
We analyse technical data anonymously, and only for statistical purposes so we are able to continually optimise our Internet presence and make our Internet offer more appealing. This data will be stored separately from other personal information on secured systems. Inferences to any individual person will not be made.

Social Media
Plug-ins for various social networks are used on our pages:
youtube.com, YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA, recognisable by the YouTube logo.
facebook.com, Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA, recognisable by the Facebook logo.
instagram.com, Instagram LLC, 1601 Willow Rd, Menlo Park CA 94025, USA, recognisable by the Instagram logo.

When you call up one of these social plug-ins via our Internet pages, your browser makes a direct connection with the server of the respective network. We have no influence on the extent of the data that is compiled using this plug-in and hereby inform you of what may happens:

As soon as your plug-in is connected, it transfers information - such as the calling up of a site – to the relevant social network. At this point, if you are logged in to that respective network, your visit can be attributed to your account. You can prevent this happening by logging out of Facebook or YouTube account before you visit our website. If you interact with a plug-in, for instance make a comment, this information will also be transferred directly from your browser to the social network and stored there.

Even if you do not have an account with Facebook or YouTube, there is still the chance that your IP address will be ascertained and stored. Our standard practice not to set any Social Media cookies and not to transfer data to social networks. Only active engagement in a Social Media service – sharing, tweeting etc. – will be recorded by them.
